Our Red Camry caught fire

On Sunday 29th September Anne and I have been to Tree of Life retreat at Shoalwater from Friday night to Sunday lunch and enjoyed a pleasant retreat studying the Desert Fathers and a food time of fellowship among friends.

On Sunday morning, after putting our bags in the boot of the car and locking it up, I was called out to resolve the car alarm going off big time. When I got to the car, I found a cloud of smoke in the cabin the source of which I could not easily identify.

Called the RAC and had the car towed back to Malaga where my friendly mechanical genius, Paul, identified the Computer controlling the locks had burnt out and a lot more beside.

On Monday night, Anne hunted the internet for Cars within our budget and found a range of cars that would fit the bill for capacity and within constrained budget.

On Tuesday night we went shopping and bought a Black (Henry Ford’s  preferred colour)  (2008) diesel SUV. Paid cash!! Picked it up on Thursday and have been enjoying it since.

On Saturday, we went looking for a housing Estate that is said to be green and environmentally friendly and ended up at Guilderton River and Beach  and enjoyed the sounds and smells of the beach and the river meeting the sea. Enjoyed a locally produced Ham Burger and Coke.

Another step in our journey.

Blessing and Peace
