Here we are in Coolbellup and right next to proposed Roe 8 Freight Link. We didn’t realise this until the home owner said ‘yes the bush was lovely but not likely to last’. We walked in the bush among the Marri trees and were in wonder at the red tailed black cockatoos, which have such limited feeding and breeding areas. Then we saw the Rethink the Link signs along the road.

Now we have offered to support one young man’s effort to make sure it doesn’t happen,( more later when this is confirmed). I had a two hour chat with a local hero who has been fighting planning disasters like this for forty years and I felt like that it was possible to make a difference.
